Hi! I’m Neema—

Founder of Marigold Learning & Coaching, mom of three littles, educator of both adults and kids, and a lifelong learning and leadership enthusiast.

For the past 17+ years, I’ve served as a teacher, principal, principal coach, and educational consultant—working alongside students, families, and school leaders across Washington, D.C. and the country. I’ve always been deeply curious: about how people learn, how leaders grow, and what helps individuals and communities truly thrive. This curiosity is grounded in my deep belief in people and my desire for kids and those that lead them to feel confident and supported throughout their journey!

I believe that when we lead with curiosity and connection, we unlock real, lasting growth. And I hold an unwavering belief that every child holds promise and potential.

To me, learning is joyful, personal, and rooted in community.

Becoming a mom changed everything. I saw firsthand how easy it is to feel stuck—whether you’re a child navigating school or a parent trying to support them. That experience gave me a new lens: families need partners who understand both the inside of a classroom and the realities of raising kids. It is so easy to feel like we’re in the dark as parents - but that doesn’t have to be the case, and it’s my mission for parents and educators to say, “I got this!”

I found myself becoming that person for friends and neighbors—answering questions, exploring school options, coaching through hard conversations—and I realized how needed that support is.

That’s why I started Marigold Learning & Coaching.

It lives at the intersection of my experience as a school leader and my passion for empowering humans. Whether I’m working with students, parents, or school leaders, my approach is grounded in your strengths, your context, and your goals.
